What BOOI Does

Three functions. One mission.

Preparing kids for a technology-driven future. Community intelligence. Civic transparency. BOOI is the ground-level layer that makes innovation meaningful for the people it's supposed to reach.

Function 01

Preparing Bayonne's Kids — For the most innovative time in history.

The students in Bayonne's classrooms right now will enter a workforce, a civic life, and a world being fundamentally reshaped by AI and emerging technology. The gap between what schools are teaching and what that world requires is real — and it's closing fast. BOOI exists to close it faster, from the ground up.

67gen67 is BOOI's AI literacy curriculum — designed with ground-level intelligence from BOOI's advisory board of active in-field educators who see what students actually need. Students complete Anthropic certification, build a personal AI dashboard, and develop a functional game prototype. It is built for the students of Bayonne, by people who know them.

The question every Bayonne parent should be asking.
Is my kid being prepared for the world they're actually entering — or the one that existed ten years ago?

Function 02

NJ Innovation Intelligence — What the state is doing. What it means for Bayonne.

The NJ Innovation Authority was established January 2026 to position New Jersey as a national leader in AI and emerging technology. It operates from Trenton. Its guidance is written for state agencies and large institutions. BOOI translates it for Bayonne — for the classroom, the department office, the community meeting.

Every item in BOOI's intelligence feed is reviewed before it publishes. Three lines: what the source says, what it means for Bayonne, what BOOI is doing about it. No noise. No reposting. Only what's actionable at street level.

Function 03

Proactive OPRA Filing — The record is only as strong as what's in it.

The Open Public Records Act gives every New Jersey resident the legal right to request government documents. Most people don't know it exists. Most organizations that do know it exists use it reactively — after something goes wrong. BOOI files on a documented schedule, proactively, before problems surface.

A community that can see what its government is doing is harder to mislead. BOOI's OPRA function exists to make Bayonne that community.

The BOOI Standard

Every household needs one person fluent in what's coming. BOOI makes sure Bayonne isn't caught off guard.

State innovation policy is written for the state. BOOI is built for Bayonne. The distance between those two things is where residents get left behind — and where we work.
